Aaaaand another portrait! This is turning into a habit, it seems.
This is a poster I created for my mother, actually. It's for a play by Steve Martin about Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso meeting in France in 1904. Since this is early in Picasso's life, I strayed away from his cubist work and tried to emulate the point right before his blue period. Mr. Einstein was based on some early photos of himself at that time period. I intentionally made his hair a little more frazzeled than it was in the photograph to bring more immediate recognition.

holy crap! I saw this at Theatrefest this year! A student production of it. It was fantastic! Did you go see it? I was laughing so hard, hehehehe. I hope our school does it sometime. Soo good, Picasso and Einstein were cracking me up the whole time. I love the style for your poster

it was a cartoon-esqe drawing of einstein on a canvas, but it was kinda goofy-looking) I wish I could do stuff like this in digital.. or traditional for that matter
